LOW, KOMPAS.com – Puji Santoso (59), a motorcycle taxi driver who was deceived by his own passengers was surprised because he got a motorcycle prize.

Puji said he was surprised and did not expect to get a motorcycle prize.

Even though he came to the police station Lebak only to report the loss of the case of motorcyclists’ escape by the passengers on Wednesday (29/07/2020) yesterday.

“Come to the police station for the report, as a condition to take care of the leasing as well because there is still another one year installments,” said Puji at the Lebak Police Headquarters, Jalan Siliwangi Rangkasbitung, Lebak, Banten, Thursday (07/30/2020) night.

Puji, a resident of Serang City, came accompanied by his son. He came using a motorcycle loan from his relatives.

After taking care of the report at the Lebak Puji Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Sartreskrim), Puji was shocked by the motorcycle.

The motorbike was handed over directly by Lebak Deputy Police Chief Commissioner Ari Satmoko.

“Thank you very much, I don’t know where to look for a replacement motorcycle, it’s my only livelihood,” said Puji while hugging the Deputy Police Chief.

Puji said the motorbike would be used to pull a motorcycle taxi before, but with more caution.

“No longer dare to bring passengers who are far out of town, will be more vigilant,” he said.

Meanwhile, Kompol Ari Satmoko said that the motorbike awarded to Puji was in exactly the same condition as the previous motorbike that was taken away, of its kind, the year out until the color.

“We just handed it over, we got the deposit from him concerned to give to Mr. Puji. Alhamdulillah, it was replaced with the full payment following BPKB,” Ari said.

Ari hopes that the incident experienced by Puji will be a lesson for him to be more careful.

For the case reported by Puji, Ari said he immediately developed the case and pursued the perpetrators.

“Please pray that we can immediately secure it,” he said.
