A number of former and current ministers attended the condolences of Dr. Tarek Shawky’s wife, the former Minister of Education, at Field Marshal Tantawi’s mosque in the fifth settlement, following the Maghrib prayer today, Sunday.
Shawki received the mourners, who were led by Dr Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Dr Awad Taj El-Din, President Sisi’s advisor for health affairs and epidemics.
Shawqi mourned his wife on his official “Facebook” page, saying, “O calm soul, return satisfied to your Lord, then enter my servants and enter my paradise.”
The funeral was attended by Dr. Hala Zayed, former Minister of Health, Nevin Al-Qabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Abdel Wahab Abdel Razek, President of the Senate.
