Cross-play and Cross-progression soon on Rainbow Six Siege?

Ubisoft details the arrival of the Cross-play and Cross-progression function on these games. But is it possible to see this feature land on Rainbow Six Siege?

Since its release in 2015, many players have taken the plunge during the development of Rainbow Six Siege by changing platforms, especially after the abandonment of the e-sports scene on Xbox. However, Ubisoft does not offer an account switching and progression system.
