Cristiano Ronaldo’s mom is getting better

As Europe is hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic, good news has been sparse in recent weeks. On March 3, Cristiano Ronaldo (35) learned of his mother’s hospitalization at Funchal Hospital, Madeira, after having suffered a stroke. For this reason, Dolores Aveiro (65) had to undergo two surgeries.

But as reported by RMC Sport, CR7’s mom is now out of the hospital on Friday. As a reminder, the fivefold Ballon d’Or went to his bedside in the aftermath of his stroke before being authorized by his club, Juventus, to spend his forties on the side of Madeira. Currently isolated, the former Merengue will not be able to celebrate this good news and his reunion with Dolores Aveiro once his fortnight ends in Portugal on Monday.
