Cristiano Ronaldo’s beautiful tribute to his deceased son

After missing his last game for Manchester United due to the death of his baby, Cristiano Ronaldo (37) has returned to the field of play and he has done it by dedicating his first goal scored to the little one.

After the death of one of the twins that Georgina Rodríguez and Cristiano Ronaldo were expecting, the world was filled with messages of affection towards the couple and towards the daughter who survived childbirth. They were the ones who communicated the terrible news through a statement on Instagram.

“With our deepest sadness we have to announce the death of our son. It is the greatest pain that parents can feel.
Only the birth of our daughter gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We want to thank the doctors and nurses for their care and support. We are devastated by this loss and ask for privacy at this difficult time. Baby, you are our angel. We will always love you. Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez,” they assured in the statement.

After requesting privacy, Cristiano Ronaldo missed the match between Manchester United (his team) and Liverpool, in what would be the most important English derby. In minute 7, the number that Ronaldo wears on his shirt, the public stood up and began to applaud while singing the anthem ‘You will never walk alone’ (You will never walk alone). A moment in history that makes your hair stand on end.

An unexpected pregnancy announcement

Thirty million ‘likes’ (and counting) and many congratulations is what they received Georgina Rodriguez and Cristiano Ronaldo when they announced through a joint Instagram post that they would be parents to twins.

“Delighted to announce we are expecting twins👶🏻👶🏻. Our hearts are full of love – we can’t wait to meet you”, wrote in English, due to his international fame, and also hers. With these two new additions to the team (a bit of sports jargon on this subject never hurts), there would have been six in total the children of Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez. Thus, Cristiano Jr, Eva María, Mateo and Alana were going to have two new little brothers.
