Manchester United’s U12s, led by Cristiano Ronaldo’s son, will take part in the Coal Cup, an international youth tournament organized near Saint-Etienne.
The next generation is here. Teammates at Manchester United from 2004 to 2009, Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney follow the performances of their son, Cristiano Jr and Kai respectively, in the Red Devils U12 squad. The two little prodigies of the Academy of MU will perhaps be at work during the next Coal Cup, an international youth tournament organized in Saint-Genest-Lerpt, in the suburb of Saint-Etienne.

Great Europeans at the rendezvous
The field of the Coal Cup 2022 (May 27 and 28) is particularly prestigious. In addition to Ligue 1 clubs (theAXIS, OM, OL, PSG, AS Monaco, FC Nantes or Bordeaux), major European clubs are also in the game (Bayern, Inter Milan, Juventus, FC Porto, Benfica, Hadjuk Split, Sparta Prague or Zenith). Twenty of the 32 teams were announced on the Facebook account of this Coal Cup.
The former captain of the Greens Loïc Perrin is the sponsor of this meeting organized by the Coal association (coal, in English). The boys of the French internationals Dimitri Payet and Kevin Gameiro (respectively with the OM and Valencia U12s) were in the game during the previous edition.
