Crime Scene: The Killing Fields explores five decades of the site’s history, revealing dark connections and missed opportunities that could have led investigators to the truth surrounding the Calder Road mysteries.
In this third season of the series, Dimmock doesn’t desperately seek a solution to the murders, but instead explores the state of mind of a town torn apart by uncertainty, by the impossibility of healing wounds, by the impotence of the police. The Death Fields of Texas is the journey towards the end of the night of justice, which chooses to show the emotional side of a horror story, which is still not over 50 years later.
