USA stopped independent manned flights in 2011, completing the Space Shuttle program. The construction of new manned spacecraft under a contract with NASA took up the companies SpaceX and Boeing, creating the Crew Dragon and Starliner, respectively. Crew Dragon made a successful test unmanned flight to the ISS in March last year. Starliner’s first unmanned test failed, the ship returned to Earth without docking with the ISS.- .
