Marchi posted on Facebook a video shot next to the fridge, in which he recounted the episode: “Dear friends and fellow citizens, today we are inaugurating a new service of the Municipality of Gerre de ‘Caprioli. As you can see, we found this refrigerator abandoned in front of the landfill. Fortunately, however, the cameras captured the vehicle that transported him and so this new service consists in the fact that we have left a small dedication to the owner and now we bring him back home, “he said, showing the tall steel-colored fridge.
“Obviously then next week we will also give him a fine”, assured Marchi in the video in which he explains that the “dear sir” comes from a neighboring country. “Attention to waste management is fundamental”, he concluded, receiving the applause of his fellow citizens.
