WASHINGTON D.C. – Individuals repeatedly bombarded with unwanted robocalls from Credit One Bank may be eligible for a settlement payout, perhaps ranging from $100 to $1,000, depending on the volume of claims and supporting documentation. A proposed settlement has been reached in a class-action lawsuit alleging violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). This action offers recourse for consumers frustrated by intrusive and illegal robocalling practices.
the settlement aims to compensate those who received these calls, even if they didn’t have an existing account with Credit One.Millions of consumers are believed to be affected, and the total settlement fund will be distributed based on the number of valid claims filed, the severity and frequency of the robocalls received, and net funds available after legal costs and governance.
