VIVA – The plan of the Australian government to improve the defense system or military capability within the next ten years certainly cannot be underestimated.

According to the data Global Fire Power 2020, currently Indonesia’s defense and security system ranks higher than Australia’s, ranking 16th out of 138 world countries. Meanwhile, Australia is ranked 19th.
However, with Australia’s plan to allocate a defense budget of 270 billion Australian dollars or 186.5 billion US dollars or equivalent to Rp2.69 quadrillion, it is very possible that Indonesia will be far behind by Australia in the future even though the TNI currently dominates the military power of Southeast Asia.
