Iloilo City, Philippines - Central Philippine University (CPU) has launched online registration for the CPU College Aptitude Test (CPUCAT) specifically for prospective first-year students living outside the Philippines. The university announced the availability of the online exam on September 3, 2025, via its official Facebook page, aiming to broaden access for international applicants for the School Year 2026-2027.The CPUCAT serves as the primary entrance examination for students seeking admission to CPU. Offering the test in an online format removes the barrier of travel for international students wishing to pursue their education at the university.
Testing dates are scheduled for November 22, 2025; December 6, 2025; January 24, 2026; February 28, 2026; March 21, 2026; April 18, 2026; May 23, 2026; adn June 20, 2026, all at 1:00 PM Philippine Standard Time.
A non-refundable CPUCAT fee of Php3,000.00 is required. Applicants must also provide a valid school ID, passport, or other goverment-issued identification, as well as documentation verifying their international student status or residency – such as a student visa, official enrollment records, academic transcripts, or a passport displaying relevant visa or travel stamps.
