Cow walks into a busy Brabant restaurant | Inland

The Brabantse Kluis in the outskirts of Aarle-Rixtel is a restaurant and farm in one. A move of a pregnant cow from one barn to another went wrong on Thursday evening. The cow decided to visit the restaurant. According to owner Christa Migchels, it was ‘quite busy’ at the time. “Many people have seen it happen. One thought it was scary, the other funny. In any case, it was an experience for everyone. ”

“We were moving the cow. It went well in the beginning, she walked neatly into the stable. But at one point she was shocked and walked out again, towards the terrace ”, Migchels tells Omroep Brabant. One of the doors to the food shop and inn was open, giving the cow an opportunity. “She walked neatly in, all the way through the restaurant and then out through another entrance. (…) She walked very calmly and left everything intact. Fortunately she hasn’t left anything behind either. ”

Childbirth

Whether the details of the unannounced guest were recorded due to corona and whether she adhered to applicable waiver rules is not clear. The cow gave birth to a healthy calf the next morning.
