The “clandestine” training was reported to the police by some neighbors. The client was training without using the mask, among other things, and the owner was helping him in the exercises with weights.
Thus, the carabinieri intervened and imposed a fine of 400 euros each, but the closure of the gym was not ordered, as it would have already had to close the doors for the anti-Covid regulations.
In Grumo, also in the Bari area, the military instead sanctioned ten people, with a total fine of four thousand euros: the owner and nine customers of a private club were surprised to consume drinks inside the restaurant.
