Italy recorded the second consecutive record daily incidence rate. The number of new cases reached 50,599, up from 44,595 the day before.
At the same time, the number of deaths in Italy associated with the coronavirus fell to 141 from 168 on Thursday. In total, 136,386 deaths associated with COVID-19 have already been recorded in Italy – the second largest in Europe after the UK and the ninth in the world. There are already 5.57 million cases in the country.
In turn, France confirmed a record 94,124 cases of coronavirus infection per day, and the number of hospitalized people reached a seven-month high and amounted to almost 16,200 people.
The day before, the world recorded record COVID-infected per day… Ukraine ranks 20th in the number of cases per day – 7,312 new cases. The United States also remains the leader with 267,269 infections.
