Covid patients in intensive care rise to seven in one day with more than 250 positives detected in Galicia

The number of patients diagnosed with covid-19 admitted to intensive care has risen to seven (one more) in the last 24 hours, while those hospitalized in the ward amount to 163 (three more).

As it appears in data released by the Department of Health, with data as of 6pm this Tuesday. At that time, active infections had increased to 2,069 (82 ms) and new infections to 254 (42 ms).

By area, the main change compared to Tuesday’s balance are the two ICU patients added by that of A Corua and the one that drops in that of Vigo. In conventional hospitalizations, the Corus district continues to have the largest volume of covid patients with 61 (+3) while Vigo is at the bottom with 13 (+1).

For its part, Pontevedra has 25 in plan (+2) and one in Uci (no variation); Santiago, 17 in conventional units (-3) and none in criticism; Lugo, 15 on the ground (-6) and zero in the UCI (no change); Ourense, one crit (no change) and 18 down (+1); and finally, Ferrol with 14 admitted (+3), all in conventional units.

CASES AND POSITIVES

In the last few hours, Ourense has been the area with the highest number of positives with 54; followed by A Corua with 47; Lugo with 43; Vigo with 35; Santiago with 32; Ferrol with 22 and, behind, Pontevedra with 19.

Thus, the area with the most active cases continues to be A Corua, with 453, followed by Ourense, with 359, and Santiago, with 328. In the Vigo area there are 308 active cases, 258 in Lugo and 217 in Pontevedra- O Salns. The area with the fewest cases is still Ferrol, with 143.
