76 positive cases were recorded on Sunday 27 September in Puglia after the examination of 2 thousand 683 tests for Covid-19 infection: this was announced by the bulletin that was released by the Region. No deaths were recorded.
The positive cases are 30 in the province of Bari, 12 in the province of Bat, one in the province of Brindisi, 17 in the province of Foggia, three in the province of Lecce and 12 in the province of Taranto. Another case concerns a resident outside the region. Since the beginning of the emergency 399 thousand 109 tests have been carried out and 4 thousand 527 patients are cured. The total number of Covid positive cases in Puglia is 7 thousand 521 and 2 thousand 404 are currently positive cases.
The president of the Bari and Bat Order of Pharmacists, former Forza Italia senator Luigi D’Ambrosio Lettieri, is also positive for Covid. He announced it himself with a post on facebook. “From today – he writes – when we talk about Covid-19 in our scientific conferences, I will be a person informed of the facts being positive asymptomatic”. The possibility that D’Ambrosio Lettieri may have been infected as part of the contacts of Raffaele Fitto’s electoral committee is being investigated.
