COVID in Cartagena: 220 new infections and 6 deaths | THE UNIVERSAL

The Ministry of Health confirmed this Saturday, January 9, 220 new infections of COVID-19 in Cartagena, which brought the total cases in the city to 46,532.

It also reported the death of six people. Six older adults, bringing the death toll to 845.

The last deaths were two 60-year-old men, a 69-year-old man, a 51-year-old man, with hypertension; 90-year-old woman and 76-year-old man.

Bolivar

In the department, 58 new infections were reported, reaching 8,654 total cases. Turbaco and Magangué being the municipalities with the most infections.

Today, no people died from the virus were reported in Bolívar, so the number of people who have lost the battle against COVID-19 remains at 314.
