The government of Mexico City announced that next week it will apply the first dose from coronavirus vaccine to people from 50 to 59 years old and pregnant, over 18 years old, in the municipalities Iztapalapa, Iztacalco, Xochimilco and Tláhuac.

In a press videoconference, the capital authorities indicated that it is expected to vaccinate a total of 397 thousand 633 people in the four demarcations. We tell you what you should know.

What are the dates?

The doses will be applied according to the initial of the first surname, according to the calendar:

  • A, B, C: May 19.
  • D, E, F, G: May 20.
  • H, I, J, K, L, M: May 21.
  • N, Ñ, O, P, Q, R: May 22.
  • S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z and lags: May 23.

What vaccine will be applied?

According to the portal My Vaccine, the biological that will be applied will be Sputnik-V, which requires two doses to complete the scheme.

What should i bring?

  • Prove to be 50 years of age or older with your identification or birth certificate.
  • Accredit your mayor’s office with an official identification that shows residence or proof of address in your name or that of a direct relative.

Are you also a teacher?

Do not worry! You can choose to be vaccinated as an educational staff starting May 18 in Mexico City or as a person between 50 and 59 years of age in your locality. Each person will be able to decide the option they prefer and best suit them.

What if you are pregnant?
