FANO – The bishop of Fano, Fossombrone, Cagli, Pergola HE Mons. Trasarti, “after a few days of relative well-being, complained of cough with low-grade fever and persistence of the swab’s positivity, for which he was subjected to clinical control and a CT scan of the chest showing non-severe lung involvement of the viral infection. As a precaution, considering the previous pathologies, it was considered prudent to stay in hospital at the COVID intensive medicine of San Salvatore where he will be subjected to the appropriate therapies “. This was announced in a note by the Social Communications Office of the Diocese which reports the updates communicated by Dr. Frausini.
“We would like to underline – continues the note – that Bishop Armando’s hospitalization is preventive, in order to avoid unnecessary alarmism being generated”.
