Covid-19: two deaths in hospitals in Yonne in the last twenty-four hours

According to data published by Public Health France this Sunday, January 17, 2021, 194 people are currently hospitalized in a hospital in Yonne for a severe form of coronavirus, or three more patients than the day before. Nine admissions have taken place in the past twenty-four hours. Some require intensive care. They are currently 16, including one admission today.

If the Yonne exceeded the threshold of 300 deaths this Saturday, January 16, 2021, two additional deaths directly linked to Covid-19 took place today, bringing the total death toll to 302.

In Burgundy Franche-Comté

In the Bourgogne Franche-Comté region, 1,846 people are hospitalized (+28 compared to the day before), including 54 admitted today. In intensive care units, 173 patients are being taken care of, four less than this Saturday, January 16.

Since the start of the epidemic in March 2020, 2,986 deaths have been recorded, including 15 in the last twenty-four hours.
