Covid-19: the Montluçon hospital center deprograms certain interventions

The Montluçon hospital center has decided to take measures in the face of the significant increase in the number of Covid patients treated. Some activities have been deprogrammed since this morning.

The deprogramming concerns “non-urgent surgical and interventional activities and without loss of opportunity for patients“, indicates a press release from the establishment. Pediatric activities, consultations for chronic pathologies, oncology are maintained.

The situation has changed a lot in recent days at the hospital center. Four or five, at the start of the week, the number of patients with Covid-19 has reached 25, this Saturday. The hospital had already announced yesterday, the limitation of visits.

In the Allier, the incidence rate has exploded in recent days. It was 230.6 cases per 100,000 inhabitants last night. The latest figures from Public Health France also reported 215 positive cases declared on the single day of last Tuesday. The number of patients in intensive care has stabilized in the Allier, with 6 people taken care of, last night.
