The presidents of Caixa Geral de Depósitos and Novo Banco are this Wednesday heard in Parliament in the Economy and Budget committees on measures to support families and companies affected by the Covid-19 crisis.

Last week, MPs unanimously approved the CDS-PP request for hearings with the five largest banks operating in Portugal – CGD, Millennium BCP, Santander Totta, BPI and Novo Banco – on support for companies and families in the context of pandemic, taking into account problems reported by companies and business associations.
