The guitarist of the rock bands “IFK” and “Tatu” Maxim Galstyan has died. This is clear from a post on the official page of “IFK” on Instagram.

“Max died tonight. He has been associated with IFK all his life. A talented musician, composer, guitarist, songwriter. A tribute!”

The cause of death has not been officially stated. However, the musician Roman Homutsky wrote on his VK page, commenting on the news of Galstyan’s death:

“Don’t ignore the painful symptoms. The disgusting coronavirus spares neither the young nor the old.”

IFK was formed in 1994, where they invited Maxim Galstyan, he became the main guitarist in the band. During these years, Galstyan met Tatiana Romanenko, who later became the famous TV presenter Tuta Larsen. The couple married, but the marriage fell apart in 2005. Years later, Larsen said in an interview that she had lost a child to Maxim.

Galstyan also worked with TaTu and participated with them at Eurovision 2003. In 2011, Maxim founded the band LaScala.
