Paris – As part of the repatriation operations of citizens stranded abroad due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Morocco organized a new flight between Paris and Marrakech on Monday.

This humanitarian operation, provided by a Royal Air Maroc (RAM) flight, involved a total of 155 passengers.

This theft, which comes after a series of repatriations made last week, has benefited citizens with short-stay visas in vulnerable situations, in particular sick, elderly and people who have undergone surgery.

Organized by the Consulates General of Morocco in Villemomble, Colombes, Orly, Pontoise and in Paris in collaboration with the French authorities, this operation took place in serenity and total respect for the precautionary measures and the health protocol in force.

The first phase of the repatriation operation of Moroccans stranded in France began on June 22 with hundreds of people from several cities in France, including Paris, Marseille, Lyon and Bordeaux.

Some 30 flights were scheduled between June 21 and 27 for the repatriation of 4,644 Moroccans stranded in 17 countries, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
