Covid-19 / Morocco: 156 cases admitted in resuscitation and intensive care units, including 85 intubated

Morocco has recorded during the last 24 hours, 28 new deaths and 1,241 new positive cases, bringing the total toll of infection cases to 36,694, since the start of the pandemic in the Kingdom, last March.

The number of serious or critical cases continues to rise worryingly. Of the 10,664 active cases nationally, 156 cases are now admitted to intensive care and intensive care units, including 85 intubated, a worrying figure, according to Mouad Mrabet, director of the National Center for Emergency Operations at the Ministry of Health , intervening during the daily press briefing given at the end of the afternoon.

In detail, these serious or critical cases are distributed between the regions of Casablanca-Settat (44), Marrakech-Safi (38), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (31), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (15), Fès- Meknes (14), Souss-Massa (5), Drâa-Tafilalet (5), l’Oriental (3) and Guelmim-Oued Noun (1).
