The commentator recalled that when we started the deflation, there were still 242 cases per day, “when our competitor countries had 20 to 30”.
“We cannot go into depression. But we cannot devalue either. This growth in cases is not trivial. It is having an effect on our image.” Marques Mendes says the problem has always been there, since May, and the health authorities and the government have shown overconfidence and facilitation. “The Government comes to act in the afternoon and at bad times (…).
