The fiddle music is even poorer, after one of the virtuosos of this genre, George Ciolac, with stage name George Ness, one of the most famous drummers in Romania, died. The fiddler had been infected with Covid-19.
Over time, George Ness appeared in several shows and sang with big names in music such as Gheorghe Zamfir or Johnny Răducanu. Lately, he appeared with his taraf on Mircea Dinescu’s show.
