Covid-19 in Córdoba: 3 deaths and 168 new positives in 24 hours

The Ministry of Health of Córdoba confirmed this Thursday 168 new cases of Covid-19, of which 96 correspond to Córdoba capital, one is imported (Santa Fe) and 71 from the interior, with the following distribution by departments:

This Thursday four cases were notified to the National Health Surveillance System (SNVS) corresponding to people with residence in La Rioja, Province of Buenos Aires, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and Santa Fe, but with legal domicile in Córdoba capital, Unquillo, San Francisco and Marcos Juárez, respectively. It should be noted that the SNVS incorrectly accounted for three cases.

In the province of Córdoba, 150,904 people were tested with PCR (swabs) since the start of the pandemic. This results in a rate of 40,129 people studied with CRP per million inhabitants. Today 4,439 studies were carried out, of which 2,231 are PCR and 2,208 serological tests.

Three deaths

On the day, three deaths were reported by Covid-19 in the province of Córdoba, corresponding to two men aged 57 and 73 years, and a woman aged 75 years.

The three people were from the town of Oliva, were hospitalized and had a history of previous pathologies. To date there have been a total of 77 deaths from this cause.

As for the recovered persons, the proportion of discharges in relation to the total of confirmed cases in the province of Córdoba is 44%.

71 people are hospitalized in beds in critical units for Covid-19 adults, which represents 5.35% of the total beds in the public and private sectors of Córdoba province.
