The mask everywhere and the tight markets. Prime Minister Jean Castex announced it, Oise and 19 other departments are now under reinforced surveillance in the face of the rapid circulation of coronavirus on their territory. The prefectures of these departments must consult with local elected officials to take new directives next March 6.
Corinne Orzechowski, Prefect of Oise, did not wait. According to a press release from the prefecture, she spoke this Friday with the elected officials of the department. And the first measures come into force on Saturday, February 27 in the department.
The compulsory mask everywhere
The first big change in this decree is theextension of compulsory mask wearing. It is now mandatory to wear your mask in all the municipalities of the department. And this is valid for all public space.
The other measure taken this Friday is the opening of markets exclusively for food products. The other products cannot be sold on the markets for at least the next fortnight.
