Covid-19 cases in Colombia January 24: infections, deaths and vaccinated – Other Cities – Colombia

According to the report of the Ministry of Health of this Monday, January 24, 2022, 21,219 new cases of covid-19 were reported in Colombia in the last hours. This, after 87,566 tests were processed (50,025 for PCR and 37,541 for antigens).

In the country, to date, 31,736,335 tests have been processed. Thus, Colombia reaches 5,761,398 confirmed cases of coronavirus since the pandemic began, in March 2020.

On the other hand, the report accounts for 237 more deaths from the virus. With this update, the total number of deaths in Colombia amounts to 132,477.

In total, there are 132,374 cases that remain active in Colombia.

In the last 24 hours, in addition, 36,202 recovered patients were reported. Thus, there are already 5,477,223 patients who have overcome covid-19 in the country to date.

Regarding the progress of the National Vaccination Plan, the health authority reported that, with a cutoff at 11:59 pm this Saturday, January 22, 70,013,742 doses of the vaccine against covid-19 have been applied in the country.

Of that figure, 34,123,602 correspond to the first dose; 25,161,189 to second dose; 5,108,106, a booster dose, and 5,620,845 are for the single-dose vaccine.

In Colombia, 30,782,034 people already have the complete vaccination schedule.
