For an uninitiated, this does not mean much. But for the virologist that is Mohamed Sajadi, from the Institute of Human Virology, at the University of Maryland, in the United States, and member of the Global Virus Network, that raises other questions: would this new virus be influenced by weather and climate conditions? If so, could we not include these factors in epidemiological models to anticipate the spread of the disease?
