The Montpellier Academy took stock this Friday on the situation related to Covid in schools in the region.
In the Academy of Montpellier, this Friday, there was a school closed because of the Covid on the 2,395 of the former Languedoc-Roussillon, or 0.042% of the schools closed. According to the map provided by the Academy, this school would be in Aude.
142 classes were also closed out of a total of 21,199 (0.67%). As a reminder, according to the reinforced protocol in force, the authorities close a class from the 1st case of Covid-19 in the 1st degree and according to the opinion of the health authorities in the secondary.
In total, 361 new students were infected over the last 7 days or 0.073% of the students (this represents – 13 students in 24 hours).
Regarding staff, 18 have been affected by the Covid over the last 7 days, i.e. one more in 24 hours.
The Academy also announces that 11 classes are closed in the Aude and 15 in the Pyrénées-Orientales. There are 55 in Gard and 61 in Hérault and none in Lozère.
Note that 126 establishments have offered a vaccination course to students in 368 middle and high schools.
