Fourteen new cases of COVID-19, a dozen in Victoriaville and two in Saint-Christophe-d’Arthabaska, have been confirmed in the MRC d’Arthabaska in the past 24 hours. During this period, a new case, in Princeville, was diagnosed in L’Érable.
Since July 12, 1,936 people from the MRC d’Arthabaska, including 1,435 from Victoriaville, 84 from Warwick, 67 from Saint-Christophe-d’Arthabaska and 56 from Saint-Albert, and 493 people from the MRC de L’Érable , including 221 from Plessisville and 152 from Princeville, contracted the disease.
In total, since that date, 6,574 people in Center-du-Québec have been infected with the virus. Of these people, 6,247 have recovered.
In the greater Mauricie / Center-du-Québec region, 14 people are hospitalized, including 5 in intensive care. Since July 12, there have been 305 deaths in Mauricie-Center-du-Québec.
