Court opens criminal case against Limburg motorcycle club Bandidos | Inland

LIVE – Reporter Saskia Belleman is present at the trial. Follow the case via her tweets at the bottom of this article (from approximately 9:30 am).

The Public Prosecution Service summarizes the case under the heading ‘Kievit investigation’, for which fifteen court days have been allocated.

One or two charges are central to each court day. For example, an extortion is planned on Monday, of which five men are suspected. This week there are also session days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. In April, the court put ten court days on the agenda. The requisitoir is on 26 April. The pleas of the thirteen lawyers are scheduled for 28 April, 3 and 4 May.

Due to the large number of suspects and their lawyers, there is no place for the media or the public in the courtroom. A maximum of nine journalists can follow the session via a video connection in a separate room. Public has not yet registered for the hearings, a court spokeswoman said.
