Costumes, scripts, a piece of carpet – C-3PO actor Anthony Daniels is currently auctioning off all of his “Star Wars” memorabilia. Do you also strike?

You currently have the chance to bring a piece of film history home through an online auction. The objects fluctuate between breathtaking and strange.
Hardly any other franchise has as much merchandising to offer as “Star Wars” – Master Yogurt from “Spaceballs” can tell you a thing or two about it. But for some fans that’s not enough, they want to own a real piece of the Skywalker saga. It’s not easy and anything but inexpensive, but at least it’s possible – at least this weekend!

Anthony Daniels, who has starred as C-3PO since the first “Star Wars” film in 1977, wants to part with his prop collection that he has accumulated over the decades. As part of an online auction you have the opportunity to bring a piece of film history home with you until November 12th.
A total of 1,785 items will be auctioned – from valuable to curious. Many fans are sure to be interested in the C-3PO helmet that Daniels wore in “Star Wars”, and some of 3PO’s circuits or a signed original script enrich any collection.
But Daniels also has countless notes, cereal wrappers and trading cards to offer. Particularly strange: Five blue carpet rectangles that are said to come from the “Attack of the Clones” set. Some pieces of carpet are said to still have sand from filming on them – don’t let Anakin hear that!
The bids for smaller objects of little historical film value start at 50 British pounds, but of course there are no upper limits. For many fans, Daniels’ autograph alone, which adorns most collectibles, will be worth a tidy sum. But even if you don’t end up bidding yourself, it’s definitely worth taking a look at Anthony Daniels’ personal “Star Wars” collection!
