The National Government launched the “Safe Summer 2021” operation, which will run until February 28. Its central axes will be placed in the care of the population on the roads and tourist destinations, as well as in the prevention and mitigation of crime. “This is the closing of a special year, which had a virtue: to have worked together,” remarked the Minister of Security, Sabina Frederick in the presentation of the measure in the province of Entre Ríos, together with her colleagues from Tourism and Sports, Matías Lammens, and Transport, Mario Meoni.
“We met working and solving problems that we never thought we were going to have to face, especially at the beginning of the health emergency. Even so, that strengthened us as a government, because the government is one and there is no way to solve the problems of the population from a single ministry. It is always between all, between and between all ”, added the official.

The objective of the operation is to confront complex crime and provide security and care to the population. Regarding this, Frederic pointed out that, as was done in 2020, during this summer period work will be carried out in an articulated manner between the four Federal Forces and jointly with other Ministries, such as Tourism and Transportation.
“The announced operations will be carried out on routes, in access to cities, bus terminals, train stations, ports, airports, in interjurisdictional areas and in dynamic control posts”, they specified from the national executive.
In turn, the head of the security portfolio remarked that the plan will also be articulated with provincial forces, with the National Transport Regulation Commission and with the National Road Safety Agency: “for us, as the president of the Nation, Alberto Fernández, security is a right and we will work for its compliance within the rule of law and the norms that support it, ”he said.
For his part, Lammens assured that “this is absolutely decisive due to the movement that is generated throughout the country”, adding that “Tourism is a federal, redistributive activity, which represents almost 10% of the country’s GDP, and that It is a source of work for more than a million Argentine men and women, that is why it is so important to carry out this season. Finally, Meoni said that “this summer season we will be working with the National Transport Regulation Commission (CNRT) and with the National Road Safety Agency to take care of Argentines and Argentines, with more than 400 mobile phones, always coordinated with the federal forces “
The “Safe Summer 2021” operation began last December 15 and will run until February 28, 2021, with the deployment of 70 thousand troops throughout the territory.
