Corsair comes with Touchbar-like accessory iCue Nexus

Back to the Logitech G15 era

Corsair announces the iCue Nexus, an accessory reminiscent of a cross between Apple’s Touchbar and Elgato’s Stream Deck.

If Apple’s Touchbar and Elgato’s Stream Deck had a baby, you would have the Corsair iCue Nexus. It is a narrow touchscreen that can be connected to your computer via USB. You can then compile different screens via the Corsair iCue software, each containing up to six virtual buttons. For example, you can use the device as a second screen for monitoring (such as monitoring the temperature of your hardware), for shortcuts while editing videos or effectively when playing games. You can also configure macro keys via the software, so that you can perform many different actions at the touch of a button.

The device can simply be positioned separately on your desk, but it becomes a lot more attractive if you have a compatible Corsair keyboard, such as the K79 RGB MK.2 or the K95 RGB Platinum XT. When you have extra Corsair hardware (such as a headset or mouse), you also unleash other possibilities within the ecosystem. For example, you can easily adjust the DPI of your mouse or change the profile on your headset.

Instead of putting together custom screens, players can also download pre-made screens with visuals and actions tailored to a particular game, such as Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.

The device is from now on available for 99.99 euros.
