For the first time in 10 days, the number of deaths has rebounded in Italy, even if the pandemic seems to be receding.

However, the positive trend of the pandemic’s ebb seems to continue in terms of cures (1,665), a decrease in hospitalizations, whether in standard services (17,357) or in intensive care (1,539), and a decrease in the number of patients listed (100,704), at their lowest since April 11.
“From Monday, it depends on you”
“I implore you, do not lower your guard,” said Saturday morning, before the publication of these figures, the head of the cell responsible for responding to the pandemic, Domenico Arcuri.
“On Monday, phase II begins. We must be aware that this will be the start of an even greater challenge,” said the official.
He had warned the Italians that “the relative freedom” they would gain on Monday would be called into question if the contagion restarted. “We must maintain social distancing, a maximum level of hygiene and masks. We have done the maximum with regard to our abilities. From Monday, it depends on you,” he had warned.
