Tunisia, 1,723 new cases and 24 deaths in 24 hours
Daily infections are still growing in Tunisia where, according to the data referring to 19 October, another 1,723 infections have been recorded (out of 4,557 tests carried out), bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the North African country to 44,450. This was announced by the Ministry of Health of Tunis in a statement, specifying that the death toll rose to 711, of which 24 in the 24 hours considered. Of the people who still test positive, 1020 are hospitalized, 166 in resuscitation and 95 in assisted breathing. The swabs carried out since the beginning of the epidemic are 303,202.
