Culiacán, Sin.– The Governor of the state of Sinaloa, Quirino Ordaz Coppel, reported that her daughter tested positive for Covid-19 coronavirus.

Through a video broadcast on social networks, he explained that he, his wife and their two children underwent laboratory tests to detect the coronavirus, which were negative except for that of their daughter, who studies in the United States and upon her return gave positive in Covid-19.

The state executive revealed that since his daughter traveled at a critical stage, they decided not to have any contact with her, who is isolated and under medical observation.

In the entity there are two confirmed cases with coronavirus, one in Los Mochis and another in Culiacan.

In his message on social networks, he exhorted the population to strengthen care in the face of the spread of coronavirus, each one taking hygiene and sanitation measures and avoiding, as much as possible, leaving homes and going to places where there are crowds.

He stressed that work is being done on the preventive aspects of the phase in which Sinaloa is, with the placement of filters at the airport, bus terminals, ports and at the toll booths at the north and south entrances to the state.

Also, he cited that many people abuse social networks and disclose false information, which generates fear and fear in the population, which can lead to paralysis.
