Starting tomorrow, Saturday, March 26, the vaccination of the third dose against the to adolescents aged 12 to 17 years in all vaccination centers in the country, reported the head of Immunizations of the Ministry of Health (), Maria Elena Martinez.

The official said that this measure is part of the actions taken by the Health sector to intensify the entire vaccination process at the national level. As she indicated, the coronavirus vaccine “is the only thing that can save us if there is a next wave.”

Starting tomorrow, the third dose against COVID-19 will be applied to children between 12 and 17 years of age after 5 months of receiving the second dose. This means that the boys who were vaccinated in October are already eligible to receive this 3 doses”, told the Andean Agency.

As recalled since Friday, November 26, 2021, the third dose of the vaccine, or booster dose, against the coronavirus to everyone 18 years of age.
