Coronavirus, lockdown and red zone: what can be done and what not in the open air, for running, jogging, walking, gyms and skiing

Anti Covid-19 restrictions and bans: indoor activities prohibited, outdoor activities allowed individually and respecting distances in case you meet other people. Here are which ones

From tomorrow, Friday 6 November, Italy will be divided into three macro Regions: yellow, orange and red, areas where the new lockdown it is modulated with different intensities. The new “borders” are dictated by the data of contagion, from the transmission index Rt and the indicators relating to the situation of hospitals and intensive care, while the colors indicate, in an increasing manner in the above list, the seriousness of the situation area by area, and therefore the severity of restrictions and bans decided to limit contagion from Covid-19 and contained in the Dpcm signed by premier Giuseppe Conte, in force from 6 November until 3 December.

What can be done and what not

So let’s see, in a very schematic way, what can be done and what not as regards the sport amateur and motor activity, that is the activities carried out by a very large segment of the population, from running to gyms to walking so to speak. And at times not included in the curfew.
-Yes it can to run or do jogging? YES, as long as you are alone and respecting the distances by crossing other runners.
– You can go in bike? YES because it is part of sports activity.
-You can go in sports centersi? NO, the activity is also suspended in outdoor areas.
– You can go in gyms or swimming pools? NO, they are closed.
-Yes it can ski? YES, keeping your distance on the slopes. But the problem is the lifts, which are closed for now while waiting for the Regions to adopt guidelines and protocols to avoid queues outside or gatherings inside the lifts, which must be validated by the CTS (Technical Scientific Committee).
How can it be done sport?
Sports activity is permitted “exclusively outdoors and in individual form”. Only national level competitions are allowed.
-You can do one walk? YES, but it is a “motor activity” and therefore it is only allowed on your own and “near your home”.
-The mask is it necessary if you go for a walk? YUP.
In the Dpcm it is written that it is possible to carry out motor activities “provided that in any case respecting the distance of at least one meter from any other person and with the obligation to use respiratory protection devices”.
