Dpcm, doctors: “Last attempt before a lockdown”
“The measures of the dpcm illustrated today by Prime Minister Conte represent the latest attempt by the government before an inevitable total lockdown, if they do not work”, the president of the National Federation of Medical Orders (Fnomceo) Filippo Anelli. That of the government, he notes, “is one big bet to keep production and health protection together, but if the indicators worsen within 15 days, I believe it is the government’s responsibility to take even more drastic measures with a total lockdown“.
Local news / Tuscany
In Tuscany I’m 1,863 new positives (1,569 identified in the course of tracing and 294 from screening activities). New cases are 6.3% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 1.7% and reached 12,708 (40.6% of total cases). The swabs performed reached 1,000,835, 13,811 more than yesterday. The subjects tested are 8,781 (excluding the control swabs), of which 21.2% were positive. Added to these are the 1,308 rapid antigenic swabs performed today. There are 825 hospitalized (98 more than yesterday), of which 111 in intensive care (24 more). Today they register 14 new deaths: 9 men and 5 women with an average age of 83.5 years. There are 9,182 total cases to date in Florence (538 more than yesterday), 2,145 in Prato (211 more), 2,222 in Pistoia (161 more), 2,277 in Massa (87 more), 3,402 in Lucca (190 more), 4,146 in Pisa (282 more), 1,953 in Livorno (163 more), 2,830 in Arezzo (108 more), 1,576 in Siena (84 more), 1,007 in Grosseto (39 more). There are 550 positive cases reported in Tuscany, but residing in other regions. There are therefore 910 cases found today in the Centro ASL, 722 in the North West, 231 in the South East.
Lazio
The number of new positives in Lazio decreases. “About 22 thousand tampons are registered today 1,541 almost“, announces the regional health councilor, Alessio D’Amato. Yesterday the new positives were 1687 out of about 23 thousand swabs performed. Ten deaths and 121 healed in the last 24 hours.
Veneto
I’m 1,468 the positives recorded in Veneto in the last 24 hours as reported by the regional bulletin. This is a downward number from yesterday’s 1,729 positives. Overall, the total number of cases is 44,337. The dead are 12 (against 9 yesterday), a figure that brings the total of deaths to 2,329.
Emilia Romagna
In Emilia Romagna 1,192 infections were recorded, out of a total of 9,644 swabs performed in the last day. Of the new positives, 636 asymptomatics were identified as part of the regional contact tracing and screening activities. The median age of new positives today is 42.1 years. Sui 636 asymptomatic, 159 were identified thanks to contact tracing, 33 through tests for risk categories introduced by the Region, 1 for serological screening, 9 with pre-hospitalization tests. The epidemiological investigation is still ongoing for 434 cases. The province with the most infections is that of Bologna (259), followed by Reggio Emilia (235), Rimini (159), Modena (140), Piacenza (120), Ravenna (61), the territory of Forlì (56), Ferrara (51), the area of Cesena (44), Parma (42) and that of Imola (25). The swabs carried out were 9,644, for a total of 1,476,451. To these are added 3,030 serological tests. They register 4 new deaths. Intensive care patients decreased by one unit, reaching 88 throughout the region, while 757 (+34 from yesterday) were hospitalized in other Covid wards.
Market
3,387 swabs tested in the last 24 hours in the Marche region, 521 the positives: 133 in the province of Macerata, 121 in the province of Ancona, 32 in the province of Pesaro Urbino, 93 in the province of Fermo, 138 in the province of Ascoli Piceno and 4 outside the region. These cases include 84 symptomatic subjects.
Puglia
Today in Puglia, 4,377 tests have been recorded 515 positive cases: 208 in the province of Bari, 21 in the province of Brindisi, 90 in the province of BAT, 103 in the province of Foggia, 43 in the province of Lecce, 45 in the province of Taranto, 4 residents outside the region, 1 province of unknown residence. They have also been registered 7 deaths: one in the province of Bari, one in the Bat, 4 in the province of Foggia and a resident outside the region.
South Tyrol
South Tyrol also scores today, for the third consecutive day, a given record of new daily infections of Covid-19. I am, in fact, 339 cases found in the last 24 hours of 2,753 swabs examined. Never since the beginning of the pandemic had new infections exceeded 300 in a single day. Of the new positives, 45 belong to the health sector (83 are the total infected in this sector). The overall figure of people tested positive for coronavirus in the province of Bolzano is 6,434.
