We are talking about travelers from South Africa, India and Brazil who arrived in Poland. Upon arrival, they will be able to leave quarantine on the basis of a coronavirus test, no earlier than 7 days after returning to the country.
The quarantine obligation is considered fulfilled if the test was carried out by a medical diagnostic laboratory.
Polish Health Minister Adam Nedzelski said that mandatory quarantine for people arriving from these countries is associated with the spread of new variants of the coronavirus.
“According to the new rules, people arriving in Poland from South Africa, India and Brazil can no longer be released from quarantine on the basis of a test carried out within 48 hours after returning to the country. This possibility is allowed only after 7 days,” he said. Nedzelski.
