Here are the new rules: an asymptomatic person is to be released from isolation 10 days after a positive test without having to obtain two more negative results. There is also such a possibility three days after the symptoms disappear, but not earlier than 13 days after the symptoms appear.

Mandatory quarantine after contact with an infected person and quarantine after returning from abroad will also be shortened to 10 days.

These steps were announced at the end of August. – We have evidence of this, among others from Norway, but also from clinical practice (…) that such a period of isolation is safe and does not cause a great increase in risk compared to the 14-day quarantine period – assured the Minister of Health Adam Niedzielski.
