“Coronavirus Report”

The Ministry of Health also gave a daily “coronavirus report” on Monday. As reported by the ministry:

– 1797 “COVID-19 beds” are occupied, – 86 patients are connected to respirators, – 83 460 people are quarantined, – 14 469 people are covered by epidemiological surveillance, – 20 897 people recover.

The situation in Silesia is improving

Czech Health Minister Adam Vojtiech wrote on Saturday on Twitter in connection with that “the epidemiological situation in the Śląskie Voivodeship in Poland is improving significantly” The Czech Republic plans to ease the restrictions on border traffic from next week. This means that presenting negative results of coronavirus testing or undergoing 14-day quarantine on the border will no longer be necessary – added the head of the Czech Ministry of Health.

In Poland, the most infections are still recorded in Silesia. However, the authorities argue that it is currently “one of the safest provinces” in the country, due to the number of tests carried out – over 200,000, including over 100,000 at the miners themselves in the mines, which were coronavirus outbreaks. The Ministry of Health argues that such a scale of research excludes the possibility of wider infection in Silesia.

The fourth stage of loosening the restrictions

On May 30, the fourth stage of easing restrictions in connection with the ongoing epidemic in our country began. From this day in the open space it is mandatory to keep a distance of two meters, but without having to cover the mouth and nose. There are no limits on the number of people depending on the size of the premises in shops, offices, catering establishments, but you must cover your mouth and nose.

From May 31, the limits of the faithful ceased to apply in churches, and outdoor gatherings of up to 150 people were allowed. From June 6, cinemas, theaters, massage salons, solariums, gyms and fitness clubs can be opened. Discos and clubs remain closed.
