Coronavirus in Germany. Over 4,000 new cases

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Germany has increased by 4,058 in the last 24 hours. In total, 310,144 infections have been recorded there since the beginning of the epidemic, the Institute of Infectious Diseases im. Robert Koch (RKI).

A further 16 people died, bringing the total number of deaths from COVID-19 to 9,578.

The largest increases in new coronavirus cases are currently recorded in Berlin, Bremen and Hamburg. Also in North Rhine-Westphalia, Bavaria and Hesse are higher than the average number of infections.
