Coronavirus in Colombia: infections, recovered and deaths as of December 7, 2021 | Government | Economy

Colombia came to 128,874 deaths because of the coronavirus, in the last year and 9 months.

That figure was reached after the deaths reported this Tuesday, December 7, which were 53. Of them, 47 occurred in previous days.

Regarding cases of contagions, the record of the day was 1,704 new, which resulted after analyzing 48,705 tests (22,360 of PCR and 26,345 of antigens).

With these recent positives, the country already accumulates a history of 5’084.466 infections and 28’431.055 processed samples.

As of this Tuesday, in addition, 4,925,444 people have recovered from the virus in the country, while 12,272 are still active.

And the areas of the country that concentrate the most historical infections are Bogotá (1,465,036), Antioquia (773,447), Valle del Cauca (418,133), Atlántico (340,279) and Cundinamarca (266,498).

As of December 5, 62,360,642 doses against the coronavirus had been distributed and 59,045,186 had been applied. And the number of fully immunized people, with one or two doses, was 25,373,204.

Worldwide, 266,925,825 people have been infected with the virus and 5,268,520 have died.
