Coronavirus in Belgium: no deaths in 24 hours, the number of infections up 11%

Mardi, Sciensano lists 74 cases of Covid-19 more than the day before, bringing to 62,781 the total number of cases found in Belgium. There has been an average of 95.3 cases reported daily in the past seven days, an increase of 11%.

On Monday, there were nine hospital admissions for five discharges, a total of 138 people were still hospitalized for the Covid-19, including 23 in intensive care. No deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours.

The total number of Covid-19 cases is greatly underestimated in our country, due to the lack of availability of tests at the start of the epidemic, which forced us to screen only the most serious cases.
